JOBS:The dirty little secret we all knew.....

Yesterday's Business Section of the paper had an article announcing research which demonstrates what everyone I know has been discussing as fact for the past few years- the new jobs in the 'economic recovery' tend to be lower paying than jobs that they replace. There are more likely to be $11 an hour jobs than $ 20 an hour. And $ 11 an hour jobs tend not to have benefits and health care either. It's not what the state considers a 'living wage', one that's sufficient to care for the average family.

I appreciate that someone finally said so.
