The rapture of March 21st

While there is still wick yet on the candle,  midday approaches on the East Coast and it's already early evening in other parts of the world.  As far as can be told,  there's no sign that the world is ending today nor that anyone is being wafted off to Heaven.  So the skeptical news media are trumpeting the news that the end was a 'no show' and a bunch of hooey.   I was always an advocate for the point of view,  if you go in for such things,  expressed by Matthew that 'no man shall know the place or time' kind of trumps all the fundamentalist mathematical rigmarole.   But there's yet another possibility which I don't see anyone mentioning.   That is that the 'end times' came and went and no one was 'among the righteous' because....well, no one was among the righteous.  


Oh well. Maybe next time.  Or maybe we should just focus on getting along down here and making the world a better place.  I think God would like that.
