The Porcine-Avian Plot
I have not been free to post for several weeks. The obligations of my job and responsibilities to family and friends have made a tempest of my time. I have several times wanted to write, but alas have been obliged to set pen aside.
This afternoon, however, I am reading the latest BBC announcement about the spreading swine flu infection which strangely has surfaced in Mexico, not southeast Asia. Strange things are embedded in this outbreak the story notes. In addition to its apparent origins in Mexico, the flu has mostly killed people who are in the least vulnerable categories of the population, the young and healthy. Additionally, the genetic composition of the flu virus includes not only swine and avian components but human flu virus as well. It is a melange of sinister proportions. Moreover, the virus appears to be behaving differently in different places making it enigmatic in the eyes of medical investigators.
I pose that it's a plot. A terrorist plot at that. A genetically engineered flu virus aimed at hitting us close to home on our porous border and honing in on the younger members of society, those who are supposed to be slaving away to cover our social security costs in future decades. Decimated, they will not be able to support us and we, the elders, will go down in droves because we have also lost our 401k's. Who is it that has unleashed this upon us? It is the Bird Bacon Underground, the Chicken Cutlet Conspiracy! Somewhere in Chiapas I believe that a group of highly evolved pigs and chickens have enslaved a group of Lilly medical researchers and forced them to genetically engineer a virus that attacks the very heart of the Pork Barrel KFC economy with the goal of bringing it to its knees.
