Though it's getting to be several years in the past one of my favorite memories is going up to Rainier for Mar's birthday. We picnicked up in the snowfields in the bright sun and watched as great slabs of snow calved from the far slope of the Nisqually Glacier drainage.

Life does not get better than this. God is good.
