The Word Detective- a witty online collection of pieces explaining the origins of many of the odd usages which are so common in English.
Devotchka- A classically trained band with a truly unique sound. I like 'em.
Patricia Green Pinot Noir from Yamhill County and the Syrahs produced by Charles from K.Vintners in Walla Walla.

Life has been too frantic to sit down, reflect and write.....not that anyone seems to be complaining about my lack of verbiage.
March has arrived, not like a lion, but like June! The scent of daphne is everywhere.
I love it. The only problem as we face this week where the high temps will all be in the sixties, is that
our snowpack and rainfall are harbingers of almost certain drought conditions this summer...a bad un.
