One More Veterans Day

On this sunny Oregon Thursday, I went back and looked at the Blog entry I'd written a year ago- Veteran's Day 2003. I stand by what I said. And feel uneasy to read my words of a year ago knowing what I know today. Fallujah? WMDs? An alienated people? What will we be saying a year from now? And I echo my prayer from last year. Peace.
